US Trade with Uganda

In the first nine months of 2017, US trade with Uganda totaled $110.3 million, up 19.23% ($17.8 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US exports to Uganda in the first nine months of 2017 were $49.2 million, down 3.93% ($2.0 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US imports from Uganda in the first nine months of 2017 totaled $61.0 million, up 48.00% ($19.8 million) from the first nine months of 2016.

US trade balance with Uganda went from a surplus of $10.0 million in the first nine months of 2016, to a deficit of $11.8 million in the first nine months of 2017.

Uganda was the US 152nd largest trading partner in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 153rd in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.0038% of US total trade (up from 0.0035% in the first nine months of 2016).

Uganda was the US 156th largest export market in the first nine months of 2017 (down from 148th in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.0043% of US total exports (down from 0.0048% in the first nine months of 2016).

Uganda was the US 126th largest supplier in the first nine months of 2017 (up from 133rd in the first nine months of 2016), accounting for 0.0034% of US total imports (up from 0.0026% in the first nine months of 2016).
